Client Max Body Size

Using AngkasaIO Web Application Firewall (AIOWAF) you can specifies the maximum size of a client's request body, thereby limiting the size of the data that a client can submit to the server. This control mechanism is crucial for preventing clients from overloading the server with massive payloads that could lead to performance issues or attacks like Denial-of-Service (DoS).

Updating Proxy Configuration

Follow these steps to configure allowed maximum request body size to your origin server using the AngkasaIO WAF configuration panel.

  1. Browse to your AngkasaIO Space (your dedicated environment).

  2. Navigate to WAF and select WAF instance that you want to configure.

  3. Locate and navigate to the Client Max Body Size section under General Setting. This section allows you to define the maximum body size of request to your Origin Server.

  4. In the Client Max Body Size section:

    • Enable feature 1
    • Max Body Size: Maximum request package size that allowed to your server2.
  5. Click the Save button to apply your changes. general-proxy

  6. Your WAF is now configured to proxy traffic to your origin server.
